Confidentiality and Policy

Confidentiality The law generally protects the confidentiality of all communication between patients and psychologists. No information is disclosed without prior written consent from the patient. However, there are some exceptions that require the disclosure of confidential information to the appropriate authorities and seek help such as:

  • Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse.
  • If a patient intends to harm themselves.
  • If a patient is threatening serious bodily harm to another person.

Cancellation PolicyWe operate by appointment only… the time is reserved for you. If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please give us a notice with at least 48 business hours in advance. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full cost of the session..
