Erryn is an empathetic and personable therapist who strives to create a therapeutic environment where one feels safe to be vulnerable. Her therapeutic approach is to engage collaboratively with clients so they feel a sense of autonomy and empowerment while in therapy.  Erryn engages in active listening to connect with and understand client experiences.  As a result, she is able to help clients identify their strengths to derive adaptive approaches to life challenges.  Erryn’s aim is to be a guide in helping clients see, as well as attain their full potential in addition to living their lives authentically.

Brief Bio

Erryn obtained her Master’s of Science in Clinical Psychology from Capella University.  

She was later hired by the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health of which she was a case manager for the Full-Service Partnership program for Transitional-Aged Youth.  Her duties as a case manager was to teach independent living skills, stress-management, as well as help clients secure employment and/or housing.  

Currently, Erryn is a Clinical Specialist/Resilience Trainer at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA) for a program partnering with the Veterans Administration.  She teaches resilience skills that specifically helps Veterans and their family members effectively navigate around life challenges unique to the military.  

Erryn is pursuing her PsyD in Applied Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.  Upon completion of her doctorate, she would like to specialize in Clinical Health Psychology to help individuals suffering from medical conditions that decrease their sense of well-being and quality of life. Erryn has a genuine desire to help whomever she works with feel a sense of empowerment, authenticity, and hope.
