Brief Bio

Nicole received her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. She is currently working towards her Doctorate in Applied Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Her master’s program focused on providing therapy that was culturally responsive and sensitive to systemic pressures. Her work has been primarily in the non-profit sector where she worked with individuals who are living through trauma. Nicole also works alongside immigration attorneys by providing mental health services to unaccompanied minors seeking residency. In addition, she has aided culturally diverse couples find healing, and led parenting and domestic violence groups.

Nicole is committed to serving the community and has created community circles that offer healing through alternative practices such as art, meditation, music and movement. As part of her self-care she is a ceramic artist, and trains Brazilian Jiu Jitsu!
