Thomas Mackey, originally from the metropolitan area of New Jersey by way of Philadelphia, is now based in Los Angeles, where he continues his dedication to the field of mental health. He earned his Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from the California School of Professional Psychology and is currently pursuing his PsyD in Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

With a deep commitment to serving diverse communities, Thomas has worked extensively with individuals facing neurological impairments, the elderly population, the LGBTQ+ community, individuals experiencing grief, and those in Full-Service Partnership (FSP) programs navigating severe trauma. His work integrates trauma-informed, evidence-based, and culturally responsive approaches to foster healing and resilience.

Thomas believes in the power of empathy, advocacy, and inclusivity in mental health care. His work is driven by a passion for creating safe, affirming spaces where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. He understands that healing is not a one-size-fits-all process and prioritizes individualized, strength-based care tailored to each person’s unique experiences.
