Anna aims to remind clients of their own resourcefulness as they work to create and enhance a life worth living. In her approach Anna provides safe and non-judgemental space where clients can feel comfortable to open up, explore and process everything that stops them from living the life they want.

Brief Bio

Anna received her M.A. in Psychology from Antioch University with a specialization in trauma. She has completed her Behavioral Tech’s Foundational Training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy as well as the TEAM-CBT Cognitive Level I certification at Feeling Good Institute. Anna currently continues to strengthen her training in private practice under Dr. Pham’s supervision.

Anna has experience working with issues related to anxiety, mood disorders, addictions, thought disorders, divorce and infidelity, infertility, parenting, relationship distress, family conflict, life transitions, emotional dysregulation, obsessive-compulsive behaviors, addiction, self-harm, PTSD, trauma, and personality disorders. Anna uses a psychodynamic approach, attachment, humanistic orientations, mindfulness, Gestalt as well as DBT, CBT and ACT interventions aimed at enhancing self-efficacy. Anna specializes in working with individual adults, couples, and families.

Anna has previously worked in the past as a Primary Therapist in Intensive Outpatient, and Outpatient settings in West Los Angeles, and as a Counselor at Clearview Treatment Programs in Residential facility for women. She completed her graduate training at Southern California Counseling Center providing therapy to adult individuals. Anna coordinated care and treatment of acute cases of mental health disorders. She has not only provided individual, couples, and family therapy, but she has also facilitated Process, Anger Management, Managing Depression, Managing Anxiety, Family Systems, Mindfulness, Behavioral Activation, CBT, DBT, and ACT, groups. Moreover, Anna originally comes from Poland and can provide therapy in her native language. In the last 17 years Anna traveled extensively and lived in five different countries. Anna was fortunate to work with people from all over the world. This experience has helped her realize the importance of understanding other cultures, belief systems and approach to psychological issues.

Anna is an active member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT).
