Brief Bio

Artraneen is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over 18 years of experience in the mental health field. Artraneen received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology from Rochester College in Michigan. Artraneen obtained a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix. Artraneen is currently a Doctoral Candidate at the Chicago School in Los Angeles pursuing a Psy D in Applied Clinical Psychology.

Artraneen has worked in many different areas of mental health including community mental health, private practice and government (prison) settings. Artraneen has worked with mood disorders, substance use issues, personality disorders, children, couples, and families. Artraneen has also facilitated groups such as music therapy, parent trauma, self-esteem, substance use, and CBT.

Artraneen is committed to serving the community from a culturally diverse and empathetic lens. Artraneen believes in emphasizing the importance of self-care and creating a safe space where clients can explore their emotions and foster personal growth and increase positive self-identity.
